Gather up those old reels of home movie footage and let us preserve your special memories on high quality, long lasting DVD. Your footage is first carefully cleaned, lubricated and spliced, as needed, prior to transfer. Next, our experienced technicians manually convert your footage to professional quality videotape. We monitor your film throughout the transfer process--expertly making adjustments for lighting and projection speed to ensure accurate color balance and a steady picture. As we view your footage during the transfer process, we'll eliminate any obviously bad footage in which the image is too dark or blurry to see faces.
We can also add background music to your transferred film, and create duplicate DVD copies.

How much film footage do I have?
You can transfer up to 1700 feet of 8mm and super 8mm film onto one 2-hour DVD. As a reference, 100 feet of film transfers to approximately 7 minutes of videotape. Film reels 3 inches in diamter (about the size of a hockey puck) contain approx. 50 feet of footage. Larger metal cannisters will contain up to 400 ft of film. Often, the spokes of the larger metal reels will feature markings to indicate the footage contained on the reel.
